Cohort 9 tours Budapest

After leaving Budapest Bank, the final business visit of the trip, students took a tour of Budapest, the capital of Hungary.

“The cohort was relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed the sites,” said Wendy Lowe, Stetson University Executive MBA program coordinator. “We started with a traditional meal at Restaurant Rezkakas, where we loved the gundel pancake, a local delicacy. We then toured St. Stephen’s Basilica, built between 1851 and 1905; the Parliament Building, situated along the Danube, where you get an excellent view of the Citadel and Chain Bridge, up to Gallert Hill, which overlooks the city and Liberty Bridge; and finally to Vajdahunyuad Castle, situated on the Szechenyi Island, where we enjoyed pastries and gelato.

“Now we prepare for our evening farewell dinner — a river cruise down the Danube!”
