August 7, 2020: Dr. William Sause the Brown Center Faculty Fellow of Digital and Remote Learning held a webinar with the title “Holding an Online Lecture and Office Hours”. Here are the topics covered: • Scheduling online lectures using Blackboard Collaborate Ultra and Zoom • Integrating Collaborate and Zoom meetings with your online/hybrid course • Using collaboration tools (e.g., screen/application sharing, whiteboard, polling, breakout groups) • Holding office hours and one-to-one meetings online

Note: After this session, Respondus has confirmed that student videos are kept for 5 years.  However, they are not accessible if Respondus has been deactivated for that quiz or exam.

July 31, 2020: Dr. William Sause the Brown Center Faculty Fellow of Digital and Remote Learning held a webinar with the title “Creating Online Assessments, Discussion Boards, and Tests”. Here are the topics covered: • Creating and scheduling an online assessment • Setting up a discussion board • Importing publisher questions and creating your own questions using Blackboard’s course tools. • Using a random pool of questions to minimize cheating on online/hybrid quizzes and exams.
