Participation in NYU Faculty Resource Network activities requires institutional nomination and <\/em>a letter of support from your chair or dean. Therefore, faculty interested in participating in Network events should secure their recommendation letter prior\u00a0to submitting\u00a0an application<\/strong><\/em>. All nominations MUST be\u00a0endorsed by\u00a0the Associate Provost for Faculty Development prior to submission.<\/p>\n

Application Process<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. A complete nomination packet is\u00a0submitted electronically to\u00a0browncenter@stetson.edu<\/a>\u00a0at least two weeks<\/em>\u00a0prior to\u00a0the posted NYU deadline.<\/li>\n
  2. Submitted packets must include the following :\n
      \n
    1. Your curriculum vita<\/li>\n
    2. A statement of intent<\/li>\n
    3. A letter of support from your dean or chair.<\/li>\n
    4. A pdf copy of the appropriate FRN application
      \n(      available online<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    5. Nominations are reviewed by the Associate Provost for Faculty Development. \u00a0If approved, the Brown Center will submit the application packet to FRN on behalf of the applicant.<\/li>\n
    6. If the nomination is accepted, contact us<\/a>\u00a0to make travel arrangements.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Funding<\/h3>\n

      Stetson University is a member of the FRN consortium. \u00a0The membership supported by the Brown Center covers the cost of the seminar but not travel. \u00a0Scholarships to support (up to 50%) of travel expenses are available through the Brown Center. To apply, submit a Request for Funding<\/a>.<\/p>\n

      Reporting\u00a0Requirements<\/h2>\n

      A brief reflective report describing your experience, your teacher-scholar goals and plans for taking action should be submitted online<\/a>.<\/p>\n

      Reports MUST be submitted within 30 days of the event. \u00a0Travel reimbursements will be processed AFTER the reflection is submitted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
