Do you have a project, initiative or area of study that could use a “boost” from a teacher-scholar<\/a> fellow?  Would you like to bring some special expertise to campus?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The Brown Center for Faculty Innovation and Excellence<\/a> is once again pleased to announce the Call for Proposals<\/a> for the 2022-2024 Brown Teacher-Scholar Fellow! Funds are available to support one Brown Visiting Teacher scholar position for the 2022-2024 academic years<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A few highlights \u2026<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n
  • Proposals are for a two-year visiting assistant professorship
    (start date is Aug 2022 [Tentative to Academic Calendar]).<\/li>
  • Proposals from interdisciplinary or issue-focused
    teams that span departments, colleges, or schools are especially encouraged.<\/li>
  • Dean and chair letters of support are required for ALL proposals.\u00a0 Check with your dean’s office for procedures.<\/li>
  • Budgets must be approved prior to submission.<\/li>
  • The Brown Center will host proposal development workshops by request.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Nov-2020: Proposal Submissions open
    Mar-2021: Proposal submission deadline
    May-2021: Awards announced
    Sep-2021: Search committee convened
