Project-based learning is an experiential learning method where student teams engage in\u00a0real-world projects and\u00a0learn through\u00a0doing and through\u00a0reflection on the\u00a0experience. As part of the 2.5 day intensive workshop, the Stetson team developed\u00a0an action plan to mobilize recent self-study recommendations made\u00a0by the Academic Planning Advisory Council\u00a0on\u00a0experiential learning at Stetson University.\u00a0The institute hosted 23 teams of five or more faculty and administrators from colleges and universities\u00a0across the globe to learn about promising practices in project-based learning. The Institute was a partnership between WPI and the Association of American Colleges &amp; Universities (AAC&amp;U).
