Over the course of an academic year, faculty engage in a learning community using a reading focused on inclusive excellence of wide interest, discuss its implication to professional and personal development, and to their practice as teacher-scholars.<\/p>\n<h3>Propose a book feast<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Call for Proposals: <\/strong><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.stetson.edu\/faculty-engagement\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Stetson-READs-2015-2016.pdf\">Stetson READs 2015-2016<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>How\u00a0a Book Feast Works<\/em>:<br \/>\n1. Select a reading that celebrates and advances <a href=\"https:\/\/stetsonfaculty.wordpress.com\/inclusive-excellence\/\" target=\"_blank\">inclusive excellence<\/a>.<br \/>\n2. Identify at least 10 (at most 15) reading partners who will commit to gathering at least monthly to R.E.A.D. and create a community of learners<br \/>\n3. Submit a R.E.A.D. proposal on\/before <b>October 15<\/b>. The proposal should include how the learning community will disseminate to the university and\/or broader community.<br \/>\n4. Submit a 2-page R.E.A.D. report on\/before May 15 of the subsequent year.<br \/>\n5.
