{"id":7822,"date":"2017-11-10T11:05:55","date_gmt":"2017-11-10T16:05:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.stetson.edu\/faculty-engagement\/?p=7822"},"modified":"2017-11-12T20:25:17","modified_gmt":"2017-11-13T01:25:17","slug":"title-ix-training-dates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.stetson.edu\/brown-center\/2017\/11\/7822\/","title":{"rendered":"Title IX Training dates"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>The Office of Campus Life and Student Success (CLaSS) has extended the following invitation to all faculty and staff at Stetson &#8230;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>As part of a strategic effort to educate ourselves as a campus community and move towards a safe and inclusive climate, the Title IX office would ask that <em><strong>all faculty and staf<\/strong><strong>f<\/strong><\/em> consider making time in your schedule for participation in one of workshops below.<\/p>\n<p>Often we encounter things in our day that may make us pause and think: <strong>\u201c<em>I am not trained for that!\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Would you like to feel more comfortable speaking with someone about a potential Title IX incident?<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Are you interested in helping to improve the campus climate? <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Do you know what is required of you by Title IX ?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Get the answers to these questions and more!<br \/>\nBuild your knowledge of\u00a0 Title IX related policies and procedures.<\/p>\n<p>These 50 minute interactive sessions will provide participants with key elements to assist with addressing difficult\u00a0 situations.\u00a0 Through case studies and open dialogue, attendees will apply what they\u2019ve learned to everyday situations.
