The program boasts and variety of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dropbox.com\/s\/q8mbpked2ftyfdu\/2018ColloquiumSchedule.pdf?dl=0\"> engaging and thought-provoking concurrent sessions<\/a> aligned with the theme of <strong> Making Excellence Inclusive<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What<\/strong>: 2018 Colloquium on Teaching and Learning<br \/>\n<strong>When<\/strong>: April 6th, 2018, 8:00 AM &#8211; 6:00 PM<br \/>\n<strong>Where<\/strong>: Lynn Business Center (LBC), Stetson University DeLand Campus<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.stetson.edu\/brown-center\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Colloquium2018.pdf\">DOWNLOAD THE FULL PROGRAM HERE<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[NOTE: Online registration has closed. On site registration is available and free at the event, Friday, April 6th. Visit the registration desk on between 8 am and 2 pm in the LBC lobby]<\/p>\n<p>The day will <strong>begin with an interactive keynote<\/strong>, where audience members will follow data-rich narratives of three students through their journey to a degree that matters.<\/p>\n<p>Over lunch, several of our colleagues will discuss their experiences teaching in the Tomoka Correctional Institution<\/p>\n<p>\u2026and we will close the day with two very special sessions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Immigration &amp; Global Citizenship<\/strong>: This special closing session marks the beginning of Stetson\u2019s inaugural Global Citizenship Symposium, a two-week exploration of our place in the world. This panel will explore ways in which we can re-imagine our commitment to global citizenship through an immigration lens.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Instructions for a home invasion<\/strong>: The installation is a meditation on the space of the Booker House in response to poetic instructions. The house was built by Paul Booker during the Great Depression of the 1930&#8217;s and is among the largest masonry examples of the Tudor Revival style in DeLand.
