Dr. Julia Metzker, Executive Director
Julia Metzker Ph.D., a nationally recognized leader in faculty development, pedagogy and assessment, civic engagement, and chemical education, joined Stetson University as Executive Director for the Brown Center for Faculty Innovation and Excellence and Professor of Pedagogy in June, 2016.
Prior to joining the Brown Center, Dr. Metzker served as director of Community-based Engaged Learning and Professor of Chemistry at Georgia College. A strong advocate and teacher-scholar of the liberal arts, Dr. Metzker has served in leadership roles on a number of committees including faculty governance, curriculum development, and assessment. She has extensive experience leading initiatives with diverse stakeholders and served in a number of leadership roles including developing and implementing successful university-wide initiative to reform general education and in shepherding the development and implementation of the SACS Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP).
Brontë Joseph, Student Office Manager
Brontë Joseph is a senior from Milledgeville, GA studying Theatre Arts with minors in Gender Studies, Africana Studies, and Philosophy. Along with working or the Brown Center, she has served the Theatre Arts department as the Student Costume Shop Manager since January 2017.
She is the Vice President of Theta Alpha Phi theatre honorary fraternity, a Student Ambassador, and the Social Media & Event Coordinator for Stetson’s chapter of Amnesty International.

Crysten Repetti, Student Office Manager
Crysten Repetti is a junior from Naples, Florida, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Religious Studies. She officially joined the Brown Center in January, 2019. She has been working as a Research Assistant in the Psychology Department since October, 2017.
Cat Keve, Digital Marketing and Promotion Coordinator
Cat Keve is originally from Cranbury, New Jersey, and is a senior at Stetson University. She’s majoring in Digital Arts with a focus in graphic design, and minoring in Marketing and Art. She has been working as a student employee for the Brown Center since September, 2017.
She is the Photography Editor for the Reporter, a student-lead magazine and blog in the Hatter Network program. Cat also helps run the Kappa Pi National Art Honor Society, Alpha Tau Chapter here at Stetson as the Public Relations Chair.

Lola Jin, Office and Budget Management Intern – Student Employee
Lola Jin was born and raised in Shijiazhuang, China. She came to the United States on a full scholarship in 2015 to play volleyball for University of Missouri, before her junior year, she transferred to Stetson University to continue her volleyball career, majoring in economics.
She has an extensive experience in being a leader on her team. Lola received an ASUN Honor Roll in 2017, ASUN Preseason Defensive Player of the Year in 2018 as well ASUN Second Team All-Conference.
Prior to working in the Brown center, Lola gained experience in the Finance office as a Student Worker. In her free time, Lola enjoys shopping and traveling.
