The 14th annual Florida Collegiate Pride Coalition (FCPC) Conference, will be hosted at Stetson University, presenting the theme, Inside Out, centered on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning (LGBTQ+) issues faced within society today. The conference will focus on disparities, including mental health, education, and holistic wellness both inside and out. Inside Out is designed to discuss issues affecting the LGBTQ+ community and empower individuals to become leaders and advocates within their own communities.

The Inside Out Conference Planning Committee is comprised of Stetson University students, staff, and faculty, collaborating to develop a theme that integrates all aspects of the conference experience that would prove to be most beneficial to the community. In addition, the conference will allow Stetson University to bring together students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members of varying identities as speakers and presenters, and will highlight issues within the LGBTQ+ community on an intellectual and personal level. Inside Out will foster these relationships and focus our efforts on recruiting students, faculty, staff, and community members throughout Florida and the southeastern region; as well as placing an emphasis on the Counseling Profession, in an effort to continue education about the LGBTQ+ community to those in the mental health profession.

If you are interested in presenting at the conference, please consider the following topic areas or feel free to create your own:

  • Wellness and Resiliency
  • Organization Transformation and Development
  • Intersecting Identities
  • Pop Culture and Cinema
  • Research
  • Holistic Wellness
