FACULTY HANDBOOK: The Brown Center compiles a handbook for distribution at orientation. We ask schools, departments and campus organizations to contribute to the handbook for new faculty to have a resource for easy reference for needed information. All departments are invited and welcome to submit to the handbook. Submissions should be sent via email to [email protected]. PLEASE SUBMIT BY JULY 26.
RESOURCE FAIR: The Resource Fair is open to all staff and faculty on the last day of the Orientation, Thursday, August 17 from 12:00 – 2:00. If you would like to have a table set up at the fair to introduce yourself, your department and/or your services to faculty and staff please let us know at [email protected] and register here: Register for resource fair – PLEASE REGISTER BY AUGUST 1.
SWAG/PRIZES: Throughout the three days of New Faculty Orientation we raffle off unique “prizes” to the new faculty that have been donated by departments and campus organizations. In addition to t-shirts and coffee mugs, some of the prizes donated in the past have consisted of “Coffee with Rosalie”, “Yoga with Lua”, “Coffee with…” If you would like to contribute to the raffle please let us know at [email protected].
