The day will begin with an interactive keynote, where audience members will follow data-rich narratives of three students through their journey to a degree that matters.

Over lunch, several of our colleagues will discuss their experiences teaching in the Tomoka Correctional Institution

…and we will close the day with two very special sessions.

Immigration & Global Citizenship: This special closing session marks the beginning of Stetson’s inaugural Global Citizenship Symposium, a two-week exploration of our place in the world. This panel will explore ways in which we can re-imagine our commitment to global citizenship through an immigration lens.

Instructions for a home invasion: The installation is a meditation on the space of the Booker House in response to poetic instructions. The house was built by Paul Booker during the Great Depression of the 1930’s and is among the largest masonry examples of the Tudor Revival style in DeLand. The house is currently unoccupied – awaiting its next identity. Join us for drinks on the back patio!

Times and locations are listed in the attached schedule.

I hope you will join us for this rare opportunity to renew ourselves and celebrate the joy of our work.

In good faith,

Julia Metzker, Executive Director
