Brown Center Workshop Series: Building a Successful Course with Canvas

The Brown Center for Faculty Innovation and Excellence will be conducting an online workshop series to assist faculty in their transition from Blackboard to the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS). Please join Dr. William Sause, Brown Faculty Fellow For Remote And Digital Learning, as he walks through the steps of building a course in Canvas beginning with your imported Blackboard courses. Topics include Canvas-specific concepts such as Modules and Pages, creating assignments, quizzes, and exams, and integrating 3rd party learning platforms. Additional features and tools such as apps, discussions, groups, announcements, Zoom, and Respondus will also be covered. Sessions will be held July 26th – July 28th at 10:00am.
