For those of you in a Teaching Square, you have hopefully scheduled your class visits by now. You are looking forward to when your colleagues will be observing your teaching and when you will have the opportunity to observe your colleagues’ teaching. Remember that Teaching Squares are intended to promote self-reflection, not peer evaluation. I hope you can approach the experience in a spirit of appreciation, and even celebration, of the important teaching work that you and your colleagues do.
