STETSON WELCOMES CRAIG LIND AS BROWN TEACHER-SCHOLAR FELLOW

CraigLindCraig Lind joins Stetson University as its most recent Brown Teacher-Scholar Fellow in Ecology.

Dr. Lind will work closely with Dr. Terence Farrell and Stetson undergraduates to investigate the interactive effects of season, environmental stressors, and energetic status on hormone production, behavior, and immune function in Pygmy Rattlesnakes.  He designs and executes studies that provide a better understanding of organismal responses to realized or predicted environmental challenges, such as climate change and emerging reptile pathogens.  He is passionate about empowering students with an understanding of how life works at a functional level through teaching and research.  Lind earned his Ph..D. from
the University of Arkansas, M.S. from California Polytechnic State University, and B.S. from the University of Illinois.
