Poverty and Homelessness Conference (PHC) Dismantling Oppression & Poverty: Building Inclusive Learning Spaces” has been rescheduled to March 9, 2018 at Stetson University.

The conference is open to the public and geared for all educational stakeholders (school administrators, PreK-12 teachers, social workers, counselors, media specialists, nonprofit organization leaders, university level students/faculty/staff, community members, etc.).

EXCITING NEWS: This year, Stetson University and Volusia County Schools will also partner with Volusia United Educators (VUE) for the PHC due to the schedule change. Together, we will make sure the “Closing the Gap Conference” goals are also met through the PHC. * Special thanks to VUE President Andrew Spar and Dr. Primrose Cameron for their wonderful partnership and support. Additionally, heartfelt thanks to all the members of the PHC Committee for their tireless dedication and commitment.

We look forward to another impactful conference dedicated to illuminating the complexities of poverty and homelessness, building equitable schools and communities, advancing justice and WORKING TOGETHER TO COLLECTIVELY BUILD A BETTER WORLD FOR OUR CHILDREN!
