The Brown Center for Faculty Innovation and Excellence at Stetson University invites faculty and staff to Teaching & Learning Day Part Two: Incorporating AI in the Classroom–Practices and Implications on Monday, December 11 2023 starting at 9am.
This full-day workshop will feature hands-on, interactive sessions from Stetson faculty on incorporating Generative AI (GenAI) into our teaching and learning plans, a lunch plenary addressing media misinformation in the time of AI, and discussion sessions that think forward about the future of AI for the academy. Expect a high-engagement day of learning and thinking…with lunch to fuel the process.

Teaching and Learning Day Goals:
1—Developing syllabus statements and strategies for course redesign
2–Enhancing understanding of information literacy skills
3—Practical understanding of GenAI (including ChatGPT)
4—Strategies for alternative assessments of learning

Lunch plenary: 12 noon
Afternoon sessions: 1 p.m.- 3 p.m.
