Writing Lockdown Program

The Brown Center is delighted to announce the return of the Writers’ Lockdown ProgramThe Writer’s Lockdown Program offers focused time, effort, and support for faculty writers to immerse in and boost their writing projects. We provide the space, some food, and peace of mind. You provide the words. Bring your laptop and materials, spread out over a table and work.

Writers at all stages of the writing process welcome – from setting goals for your papers to full-blown “deadline is here” writers.

Tentative dates are:
Friday, November 10 – 1 pm – 3 pm – Hosted by WORLD
Friday, December 8 – time and host TBD
Tuesday, January 9 – 10 am – noon – Hosted by Office of Sustainable Giving (confirmed)
Friday, February 9 – time and host TBD
Friday, March 9 – time and host TBD
Friday, April 13 – time and host TBD

Interested in hosting a Writing Lockdown?

Do you have a quiet space where faculty can come to plug in and spread out and get some work done?

As the host, you provide the space, some food, and peace of mind. The Brown Center handles advertising and registration.

If interested please use the sign up poll linked below to choose from one of the dates suggested or let us know of an alternate date of your choosing. Please specify a preferred time in the Notes section of the poll. Two hour blocks are suggested
