This month’s Lunch & Learn is targeted at faculty and staff developing and implementing international courses and programs.  Brent Spencer, international learning program coordinator will lead a discussion on Stetson’s Study Abroad Implementation Plan,  a comprehensive planning tool that includes course proposal/approval processes, financial modeling, risk management, marketing, faculty abroad orientation, and more. Staff from Academic Affairs who support strategic planning for international programming will be available to answer questions as well as faculty and staff who have successfully implemented new study abroad courses, programs and initiatives. In addition, students who have recently returned from studying abroad will offer reflections and the impact of scholarships on their engagement. Come prepared to share and learn. “Global Citizenship” and “Global Learning” are terms widely used at Stetson University. Yet, faculty, staff, and students do not always agree on what they mean. This WORLD Class invites participants to join participate in a lively discussion on definition and demonstration of global learning and global citizenship with a panel offaculty and staff members of Stetson’s Global Citizenship Collaboratory.  A useful resource to help guide this session is available here.  Come prepared to share and learn together. Lunch is provided and limited spaces are available.
