Global citizenship is the rights, responsibilities and duties that result from social, political, environmental, and economic actions of globally-minded organizations, communities and individuals. Global citizenship is a way of existing that recognises the increasing complexity, connections and interdependencies of the globe and one’s place in it. It is the belief that communities, organizations, or individuals are members of multiple, diverse, local and global networks, committed to embracing social responsibility to act for the benefit of all societies, not just their own.
