Paula Hentz is director of international learning at Stetson University. As director, Hentz serves as senior international officer (SIO) for the DeLand campus and principal advisor on comprehensive campus internationalization. She provides leadership of WORLD: The David and Leighan Rinker Center for International Learning and campus internationalization initiatives. As SIO, Hentz facilitates strategic global partnerships and advises on risk management and on legal and academic standards. Ms. Hentz also provides administrative oversight of the international student exchange and Study Abroad programs, international faculty exchange and faculty development, and the international learning scholarship program. She is an ad hoc member of Stetson’s International Learning Council, the provostial body charged with charting the direction of international learning at Stetson.
Roxanne Lewis is International Student and Scholar Services Coordinator at Stetson University. Ms. Lewis ensures compliance in relevant areas of federal regulations as manager of the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) for international students seeking a four-year degree at Stetson University. Lewis serves as the principal designated school official (PDSO) through the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Service for Stetson’s international students on F-1 student visas. At WORLD: The David and Leighan Rinker Center for International Learning, she administers regulatory and cultural services and programs for the University’s international student population and supports international scholars’ cultural and social adjustment.
Wendy Viggiano is Program Coordinator of International Learning at Stetson University. As the program coordinator at WORLD: The David and Leighan Rinker Center for International Learning. Viggiano supports the development, planning, and implementation of faculty led and study abroad programs, supervises the WORLD Student Ambassadors and student staff, and works closely with various departments on campus to increase awareness and participation in global learning initiatives including Peace Corps Prep and Stetson’s International Faculty Development Seminars. She comes to Stetson University with over a decade of international education experience, most recently as the College Relations Manager with IES Abroad, a non-profit study abroad provider, where she specialized in student recruitment/ program promotion, academic advising, and curriculum integration.
